Ardent wins 'Best Safety Initiative' award at this year's European Rental Awards

We're thrilled that Ardent has won the 'Best Safety Initiative' award at this year's European Rental Awards for our innovative Ardent Eye platform.

Ardent Eye is an AI-driven proximity intelligence system that analyses live camera feeds from machines and work areas, detecting when individuals enter predefined danger zones around moving plant. The technology enables a proactive, data-led approach to accident prevention, helping customers focus on genuine risks by reducing false alerts by more than 90%.

The platform is already delivering measurable improvements in site layouts, operator behaviour and near-miss reporting, while transforming incident data into meaningful preventative action. It's a fantastic example of innovation, collaboration and industry-leading safety performance in action.

Congratulations to Ardent colleagues who have been involved in this project, which is still ongoing. It has been a labour of love by the IT, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams and our collaboration with Safety Shield.

Gareth Clements and Jeremy Fish were honoured to receive the award last night on behalf of Ardent, and we were truly proud to wear the Ardent badge.
