Our own multi award winning Site Manager software enables you to track the performance of your equipment on hire. This includes texts and email alerts that are notified directly to site managers with details of imminent events that could affect human life or cause permanent damage to equipment. The system also prompts under-utilised equipment to be off-hired, highlights out of hours use, equipment being excessively idled, water in fuel, machines being driven at speed and several other alerts.
As part of our Site Manager software suite, we offer a daily check app, developed by Ardent, which enables operators or site personnel to conduct regular equipment inspections to help identify potential faults before they develop into costly and dangerous defects. The app follows guidelines set out in the manufacturers’ operating manuals and covers all areas of the machine. Under Health and Safety Law, employers have a duty to minimise risks to employees. All businesses must ensure that their equipment is used and maintained correctly to reduce the risk of accidents or damage to health and to meet health and safety requirements.

To allow fast and easy access to LOLER certificates, we are offer a Site Cert app which enables users to view LOLER certificates directly on their tablet or phone.
As part of our Site Manager software suite, we offer an electronic defect reporting app, developed by Ardent, which enables operators or site personnel to report any machine issues faced on site. Customers can prioritise between H&S critical and non-H&S critical defects by filling out an e-form via an online portal. H&S critical items are sent directly to your H&S team, purchasing/buying team and our Service Desk to action immediately. In these instances, with prior approval, we will schedule an engineer to visit site immediately upon receipt. Non-H&S items are sent electronically to your purchasing/buying team to prioritise next steps.
Where any H&S critical items are reported that impair the ability to use the machine safely, site managers will receive ‘hot’ and ‘warm’ alerts whenever a machine is used once the defect has been reported. This encourages operators to stop using the machine till the H&S risk is fixed and averted.

We have launched a real-time delivery and collection app which allows you to track your deliveries and collections to site and be updated every step of the way. As soon as your delivery or collection driver is en route, you will be sent a text message with a link, which once clicked, will take you to our app allowing you to track your order in real time. You will also be alerted when your driver has arrived to site. Our tracking app will display the real-time location of your vehicle on a digital map. The location of our vehicle is updated every few seconds to our servers, using this data, the mobile app displays precise location of our vehicles real-time. You can swipe for easily accessing information about your vehicle and driver. What’s more, you will be able to send the tracker to someone else to track on your behalf. Once your machine has arrived or been collected, you can rate our driver and offer any helpful feedback to allow us to improve our service.
QR Code Scanning
All of our machines include a QR code on the inside of the cab. If the operator scans these with a mobile phone they will be taken to our on-line support site where they can access short (around 1 minute) self-help videos to address any common problems. Examples include water-in-fuel, handbrakes adjustment, lock-out procedure, start-up checks and steering rephrasing. This removes the need to call out a mobile fitter and improves your productivity by reducing downtime. Online Site Support is a free of charge service to Ardent customers.
